The concise and powerful program will provide couples the essential tools they need to both nurture the good qualities of their relationship and address their "hot buttons."

"How to Survive & Thrive with A Mentally Ill Relative"
Mental illness strikes 1 in 4 families yet remains one of society's greatest stigmas. Education and awareness are first steps in fighting this stigma and providing hope for families.
"How to Survive & Thrive with A Mentally Ill Relative" is a public educational series is provided every spring in Pasadena, CA. The series is co-sponsored by Pacific Clinics Institute and the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) - San Gabriel Valley. Going into its 26th year, the series was started by Dr. Chris Amenson who developed and presented the original curriculum. Dr. DiPaolo has presented the series for the past 10 years.
The series typically runs 6-7 weeks, and includes lecture as well as consumer and family panels. Topics presented upon include schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression and helpful family roles.

"A New Way to Love" (formerly known as "Couplehood as a Spiritual Path")
Communication, communication, communication... It's commonly heard that communication is a key to marriage. But it's not always easy. Divorce rates that hover around 50% remind us that marriage takes work.
"A New Way to Love" is a 6-week marriage enrichment program that invites the healing presence of God into your relationship. The workshop provides tools that are both practical and insightful to help couples both nurture the good in their relationship and deal with its inevitable tension. A fundamental element of the program is learning the Imago Dialogue, a simple technique that teaches a new way to speak and a new way to listen. In addition Whether you're is sizzlin' or fizzlin', "A New Way to Love" will provide the support and tools to strenghten your relationship.
